All injuries eventually heal.

And what about the pain that persists that has no known injury or structural change tied to it? Or uncomfortable sensations that migrate to different parts of the body?

And how do we manage when we have health conditions that "produce" more pain sensation?

Join us on Sunday, April 13th for THE PAIN BODY, an online webinar exploring chronic pain and its relationship with the brain.

In 2020, I had a traumatic accident that led to rapid onset symptoms that lasted well after my injuries had healed. This experience, along with over a decade in working with people suffering from chronic pain, led me to the pain research of Dr Howard Schubiner, a medical doctor changing our modern understanding.

In 2021, I was fortunate to study with Dr Schubiner directly, in a professional training in neuroplastic pain syndromes and it has changed the way I approach pain in somatic session work (and in my life).

In this workshop, I share some important pieces of understanding discomfort and distress in the body, from the perspectives of Somatic Experiencing and Pain Reprocessing, alongside invitations and experiential process to deepen your relationship of awareness and sensation.

This program is suitable for:

• anyone who’d like to learn more about pain syndromes

• anyone who is living with chronic pain

• anyone who works with people in pain (movement, psychology, healthcare, meditation)

*All Adults 20+ years of age are welcome, and no experience or prior knowledge base is needed to attend.

NOTE: this program is not a replacement for medical care, and I am not a clinical professional.

All injuries eventually heal. And what about the pain that persists that has no injury or incident attached to it? Or the discomfort that lasts beyond a logically explained timeline?

The Pain Body experiential program is a fluid mix of engaged learning, conversation, mindfulness meditation, somatic awareness, and practices focused through the lens of healing neuroplastic pain syndromes. With your journey guided throughout each gathering, Sandrine offers a dynamic process to deepen and transform your relationship with your patterns of thought, sensation, and awareness.

Sandrine completed a practitioner training with Dr Howard Schubiner, a pioneer in understanding and researching non-structural pain. Combining her practices of Somatic Experiencing, Feldenkrais, Pain Reprocessing, and Trauma-Sensitive Mindfulness, she offers a transformative path to healing.

This program is suitable for:

  • anyone who’d like to learn more about pain syndromes

  • anyone who is living with chronic pain and wants to heal it

  • anyone who works with people in pain (movement, psychology, healthcare, etc.)

In between sessions: program workbook to work with (included in registration fee), recorded meditations to keep, journal prompts and other pathways, and more.

Adults 20+ years of age are welcome, and no experience or prior knowledge base is needed to attend.
